North Tour of Albania

Albania is symbolized by the two-headed eagle, which is located in a red field and forms our national flag. This symbol indicates the union of the north and the south or in our daily language Geg and Tosk. During the north tour we will start with the metropolitan capital Tirana, continue to Durres, the largest port in Albania since antiquity, then head to Kruja, the stoic city that stood up to the most powerful empire of the 15th century, of the Ottoman Empire. During our 7 day trip, we will also visit Lezha, where the Monumental Tomb of George Kastriot Skanderbeg, our National Hero is located, and enjoy the dark sand of the Adriatic coast. Shkodra, with its lake, will fascinate us and tell us why it was called the capital of the Balkans in ancient times. Two nights we will spend in the Albanian Alps, full of natural beauty with fairy tales and myths. Geges or more accurately, the culture, tradition and northern culinary along with the old centuries histories, will leave you impressed and you will surely be satisfied and relaxed by these Albanian beauties.

DAY 1

DAY 2

Started for Kruja City
Visit to the Skanderbeg Museum and the Old Bazaar,
Visit Sarrisalltik Bektashi Temple at the top of Kruja Mountain.
Accommodation: Lezha, Shengjin;

DAY 3

Departure to “Rana e Hedhun” Beach, Lezhe;
Beach Time, under the sun, water and sandy coast of Adriatic See;
Visiting the The Memorial Grave of Skanderbeg
Departure to Shkodra City;
Visit the Castle of Rozafa and later we take the accommodation to the Hotel;

DAY 4

Departure to North Alps, Theth;
We will take the Off-road Car with a companion of the area for continuing visiting: “Blue Eye water spring” Theth.
Visit to the Church of Theth, the River, and the Locked Tower;
Accommodation in the Guest House(traditional food);
Is included: lunch, dinner, breakfast of the next day

DAY 5

Visit to “Sotira Waterfall”, Theth and go back with Off-road Car in Shkoder
Visiting Marubi Photography Museum
Visiting Shkodra Lake, Shiroke
We sleep in Shkodra(waiting for the next day for the ferry ride)

DAY 6

Departure to get the Ferry at 09:00;
During this trip we will start a 3- hour adventure along the “Koman” Lake.
Here we will enjoy the beautiful landscape of greenery, mountain and lake;
We continue the journey along the Valbona, National Park.
Along the way we will visit the Old Mill, Valbona River and accommodation to the Guest House;
Here are included lunch / dinner and breakfast
